Greg is in charge of bringing new technologies into the intelli-building arsenal. He ensures every new product passes the bar for effectiveness and efficiency. With an eagle eye for quality assurance, he also helps ensure our control sequences are error-free, and trains and manages programmers and front-end specialists. Training building operators is an important phase of our projects, and Greg often takes the lead there as well.
He’s spent a decade as a HVAC temperature controls system specialist after studying Mechanical Engineering at Michigan State University.
Rick is responsible for managing the engineering team while overseeing project implementation. With an eye to the future, and an emphasis on client experience, he designs control systems and creates sequences that allow the equipment to function as efficiently as possible. He works with the programmers and technicians to get the projects done right.
Rick has been in the industry for nearly three decades, during which he’s worked on everything from small commercial rooftop units to large chilled water and hot water plants. He is an expert in hydronic design and has also been certified in test and balance. With his extensive knowledge of mechanical equipment, he can understand the optimal control strategies needed to operate equipment effectively. Rick applies this comprehension especially on large retrofit projects where only experience can be used to complete the project at hand.
Tom Franzo is often our clients’ first introduction to the intelli-building team, as he runs our business development, sales, and overall company operations. Passionate about delivering quality solutions on time and on budget, Tom’s interaction with clients doesn’t stop once the contracts are signed – rather, he personally delivers customer support and accountability throughout the project.
He’s been in the HVAC controls industry for over 20 years and graduated from the University of Illinois – Chicago. He’s been with intelli-building since 2011.
